Content-managed site is easy to update and enables community of cottage industries to expand marketing via the web.

June 12, 2006 - Greenland, NH - Integrated Development Corp. (IDC) has launched a new website for the Seacoast Growers’ Association (SGA), a nonprofit organization that operates seven Farmers Markets from May through October in New Hampshire’s Seacoast region.

The content-managed site ( enables SGA volunteers to provide updates on in-season specials, expanded detail on events-especially entertainment and demonstrations at its Saturday market in Portsmouth-offer recipes and cultivation tips, and enable the SGA to better promote its market offerings among a growing base of consumers and local business partners.

The site also augments SGA's online community.  Members can link their own websites to the new site, which also provides the capability for growers and craftspeople without sites to create and maintain their own web presence within the site.

"IDC has been great about getting our site up and going so we can have it in our hands," says SGA board member Megan Walsh, who has sold her Roots Wise Herbal products at the Farmers' Markets for nine years.  "There's a growing demand for local products, for both residents and restaurants, and this site, which we can manage ourselves, will help us give our customers information so they can get the most from their market visits."

IDC has designed the site so the most novice computer users can have their essential information, including photos, contact detail, and schedules, uploaded to the site quickly.

"We were pleased to deliver an expanded site that avails local farmers and craftspeople of web technology to bolster their marketing," says IDC president Stephen F. Steiner.  "A website is an ideal way for exhibitor-based businesses to increase sales and build ongoing customer relationships."
